After two eid seasons, people cannot return home due to restrictions on people's mobility as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is predicted that this year's Eid will reach 79 million people so the government must prepare a surefire strategy so that there is no buildup and avoid long traffic jams.

For more than 2 years Indonesia was hit by Covid 19 so the government banned homecoming for two Eid seasons causing people to abandon their intention to return home, and this year the annual tradition of eid homecoming has been allowed considering the Covid 19 cases that have decreased so that people flock to carry out Eid homecoming that has not been done for more than 2 years.

At the time of eid homecoming will certainly cause a very large surge in travelers, President Joko Widodo said a large number of travelers this year needs to be addressed carefully when homecoming must be ensured to have received a complete vaccine.

"This 79 million is not a small number, do not compare this with other events, for example, MotoGP with a capacity of 60 thousand, cannot be 60 thousand compared to 79 million so the handling must be careful and the complete vaccine must be done then the booster is then pursued," said President Jokowi.

Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo confirmed that his party is ready to secure the flow of homecoming this year in anticipation, of travelers who have only twice the mandatory antigen vaccine, and the National Police will prepare a Booster Vaccine at the homecoming security post.

Skema contraflow and one way will most likely be applied because of the high interest of people who miss returning home on Eid, contraflow and one-way schemes will be enforced at KM 45, km 47, KM 69, Cikampek Toll Road.
