My Learning strategies 

First, I searched for material about a matter of opinion: what an editorial does (Writing an editorial news/editorial cartoon: Drawing a Cartoon) from paper material from group 1st at google classroom. Second, I started reading and felt I learned a lot and my vocabulary mastery improved, I found it easier to understand the text. Then, I found some foreign vocabulary. Eventually, I began to figure out the meaning of the vocabulary and write it down, so that I could remember it better.

Based on the material I read paper material at from google classroom related to a matter of opinion: what an editorial does (Writing an editorial news/editorial cartoon: Drawing a Cartoon), I learned that although an opinion, a journalist here must maintain credibility which bases news on facts and in this editorial we must be neutral. Besides that, I also learned that short editorial cartoons can provide illustrations that represent the contents of the editorial text in question and of course this helps readers have an idea of ​​the content even though they have not read it.

 Outcome 

Having reading materials related to the topic of a matter of opinion: what an editorial does (Writing an editorial news/editorial cartoon: Drawing a Cartoon, now I realize that, editorial texts are important to stimulate the minds of readers to see and background information and the reality that is happening in society. Most importantly, even though the editorial text is an opinion, it is still supported by facts so that the public is able to see the issue from a complex point of view. I have significantly developed my knowledge and skills in developing critical thinking, detailing and improving skills on how we need to analyze carefully. This skill is certainly very important for me in the future in responding to controversial issues wisely in the future. As a next step, I need to be more critical in addressing the issues circulating, not rashly judging something, not easily provoked and stay calm looking for accurate data sources.
